2020 TINY HOME Experience Global Virtual Camp
The Ikigai Residence
I was introduced to engineering and architecture, which both involve many aspects of design. I chose to participate in stemxposure because I felt it would give me the opportunity to gain experience and insight from experts on how to design and create models, and in doing so, it also allowed me to express my creative abilities. This camp has made me realize my passion for engineering and architectural design and because of it, I have now chosen my college major. My interest in design made me focus on the interior composition, color, textures and style of my house.
I chose to do STEMxposure because I thought it would be a good way to learn some more about architecture and design.
•I chose a simple and well-known design because I've seen it work many times before and it worked for the situation.
•I learned in my technology class different pieces to a building and ways to optimize space.
